Slidelock Reel with Reduction Gearbox

PRODUCT INFO:The Slidelock Reel system with reduction gearbox is made by Plastica, one of the leading swimming pool manufacturers in the UK. This is a premium swimming pool reel system with stainless steel end stands and anodised aluminium tubes, the reel comes with a gearbox reduction system which takes the pressure of reeling the solar cover up and makes it more easier for one person to wind the up the solar cover.

There are two sizes of slidelock reel with gearbox reduction available – small slidelock reel for solar covers upto 4.2m wide and large slidelock reel for solar covers upto 6m wide. Max material on both Plastica reels must not exceed 75m2

Plastic end bosses and steering wheels make the solar cover easy to wind up, but the added advantage of the gearbox reduction system makes this job so much easier

The Plastica Slidelock Reel also has a locking device that holds the tube in place, stopping the solar cover from unwinding

The Plastica Slidelock Reel will hold the heavier 500 micron solar covers which have now become a standard thickness in the UK for Swimming Pools. Some of the other swimming pool reel systems will struggle to hold these heavier solar covers especially for the medium to larger size pools. Again have the gearbox reduction system fitted to this swimming pool reel makes the task of winding up a heavy solar cover that much easier.
