Leach Pottery Small Jug – Ash
Every item in the Leach Pottery Collection is hand made and completely unique. Each piece is reduction fired and hand finished. The Ash glaze is mixed using locally sourced Cornwall wood ash, once fired it gives a soft translucent green, with subtle variations, depending on the ash.
Founded in 1920 by Bernard Leach and Shoji Hamada, the Leach Pottery is among the most respected and influential studio potteries in the world. Bernard’s legacy continues to this day by making handcrafted Leach Standard Ware and individual pieces whilst training the next generation of potters in their historic pottery nestled away in St Ives.
The small jug is 10.5cm tall with a 6.5cm diameter.
