The handle on each knife is made from a variety of French woods – walnut, juniper, olive, plum, apple, boxwood. Perfect for impressing at dinner parties! Because the handles on these knives are made of natural materials, each one has its own unique personality, so the ones you receive may not look exactly like the ones that you see in the photos – this is part of what makes these knives special.

Laguiole originated in the 1920s in the village of the same name; a small mountain settlement of the Aveyron in Southwestern France. Inspired by the Hispanic ‘Navaja’ and their local knife, the ‘Capouchadou’, they created Laguiole Knives. Each knife is designed, built, bolstered, sharpened, polished and finished by hand from start to finish, resulting in a unique and exceptional knife that is guaranteed to last a lifetime.
