This Bramley apple chutney is flavoured with real ale. It’s a tasty addition to cheese boards and platters of cold meats. Pair it with your favourite British cheeses or a Scotch egg.
Made with Kentish apples, this chunky chutney is sweet, tangy and lightly spiced. You will notice notes of malted barley from the addition of real ale. Try adding a spoonful to onion gravy to serve with sausages and mash.
This apple chutney complements all kinds of pork dishes. You can use it to glaze pork belly or serve it with chops and gammon. Spread it on crusty bread for rustic sandwiches with Cheddar, ham or roast chicken.
Store in a cool dry place. Once opened, keep refrigerated and use within four weeks.
