Donna Elvira Coffee PGI Modican Chocolate Bar, 70g
This PGI Modican chocolate bar is a treat for coffee connoisseurs. Donna Elvira pairs Colombian cocoa and cane sugar with Timor coffee. This 100% Arabica coffee is sourced from the Giamaica Caffè Roasting Laboratory in Verona.
The rich, smooth flavour of Timor coffee is a perfect match for dark chocolate. Made with all-natural ingredients, this bar is a sophisticated treat to savour after dinner.
You can also melt the chocolate in milk to make an indulgent hot drink. Simmer it on the hob and whisk gently until the chocolate is completely dissolved.
Modican PGI chocolate is made using ancient Aztec methods. These techniques were brought to Sicily by the Spanish in the 16th century. Stone ground and cold pressed, the chocolate has a rich flavour and grainy texture.
Modican chocolate is the first in Europe to receive the PGI mark (Protected Geographical Indication). PGI certification is awarded to products with a unique quality linked to their geographical origin.

This is not a flaw, but a sign of the chocolate’s purity and craftsmanship. It does not affect the flavour or quality in any way. As the chocolate is roughly ground, rest assured this texture is also expected.
